Using the hose already included in the set, the cans can be electrically vacuum within just a few seconds. The cans are suitable for all Leifheit vacuum devices and are particularly ideal for pressure-sensitive, liquid or very damp food. In order to keep the contents even longer, the vacuum food storage containers may also be frozen. The contents are well protected against freezer burn and flavours and nutrients of the food are preserved. The containers are microwave safe and can therefore be easily defrosted or heated. When using in the microwave, the lid should be removed, which can be easily opened via an integrated valve. It is also practical that the vacuum food storage containers are dishwasher safe and therefore easy to clean. In addition, the tins can be stowed away to save space, as they can be stacked on top of each other.
