Premium fiberglass mat. This .75 oz Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat is marine grade and suitable for boat building and repairs, roofing, custom speaker boxes, pond lining and many other applications. The mat is made of high quality E-glass strands. This chopped strand mat has a good wet out and It can be torn, avoiding the need for cutting, and is ideal for laminating. This Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat is rolled. It is 50" wide x 60 feet long. The strands have a random alignment, giving the fabric an even strength with little or no stretch. Molds made from this fiberglass mat will be equally stiff in all directions. Be sure to work in a well-ventilated area and wear appropriate protective clothing, gloves and mask.
