- ATTRACTS BUTTERFLIES: The Encore Azalea Autumn Jewel can be used in large quantities if you would like a low growing hedge, used a single plant as an accent or even plant them in containers bordering patios and walkways. Butterflies and hummingbirds alike love the flowers of this azalea and they will be sure to make a stop on these beautiful pink azaleas.
- PLANT CARE: The Encore Azalea Autumn Jewel thrives in full sun to partial shade. These azaleas are relatively low maintenance and provide continuous blooms. Therefore, deadheading of these Autumn Jewel dwarf azaleas is not necessary.
- USDA ZONES: Encore Azalea Autumn Jewel will grow in zones 6a-10b. When the warmer months arrive, and this plant has received 4-5 hours of sunlight per day, it will produce beautiful blooms for years to come. Soil should be rich and promote good drainage. Upon planting, water 2 to 3 times a week, and once they have established, you can water 1 to 2 times a week. Azalea plants live in acidic soil with a maximum pH level of 6.5.
